Laurent is a Keltoi, they have blue/violet hair that might vary from a light shade of blue to dark purple. Their eyes are always bright green and they have darkly tanned skin. Their blood is poisonous for vampires, they are affable, stronger than they look, and not violent in the least unless they are cornered.

He is also the vessel of a supernatural creature that's one the most powerful type of djinn: Marid. Marid is the djinn associated with open waters of the seas and oceans where it finds sanctuary and can be either good or evil.
